Get your group in the
Christmas mood

It couldn’t be easier. And it couldn’t be more rewarding. Encourage your youth group to take part in our brilliant one-minute film competition. It’s a great way to get them thinking about the True Meaning of Christmas. And, remember, someone has to win!!

To help you inspire them, you’ll find valuable downloads and useful advice on this page. Play the promo film, print off the posters and flyers, spread the word. We’re looking to achieve a bumper entry of one-minute films.

Individuals or groups can put in more than one entry per church but they will need to register under a different account for each entry.

What we need you to do

As a Youth Group Leader, it’s essential that you endorse any film made by your group. Make sure, you get this point over when talking through the competition with them. Unfortunately, we will have to disqualify any film that isn’t endorsed.

At the time of entry, a verbal confirmation from you is all that’s needed. If, however, any of your group’s films get selected for the final, we’ll need a written endorsement from you.

You should also explain that if their film features other people, they will need to Download a Consent form, fill it in and return it to us.

Finally, if any of your entrants are under 18, they will need to obtain parental consent to upload their film. There’s a relevant tick box on the upload page, and space for their signature on the Consent Form.

The True Meaning of Fun

We believe everyone who takes part in our competition will get something out of it. It’s a chance to let loose untapped talent and creativity. Of course, there’s a serious theme behind it all, but most of all we want people to have fun. And, of course, we want to show the world some fantastic one-minute films.

Let your group know about the competition, and encourage them to join in. Tell them to put 21 November in their diary, and suggest they warn their school or work that they may need the afternoon off, in case they’re chosen as finalists.
